What the site stores in your browser

If you switch the language, the site remembers your choice in the musafir_locale cookie — it holds only the language code and is kept for 1 year.

While the tab is open, the site remembers your last search so that the “Back to search” button restores your filters (sessionStorage, key musafir:lastSearch), and searches with no results so they are not counted twice in the statistics (key musafir:zeroResults). These entries are deleted when you close the tab and are never sent to the server.

The site has no advertising or tracking cookies.

Visitor statistics

The site counts visits with Plausible running on its own server — without cookies. Your IP address is not stored: it is used only to determine your country and city (using GeoLite2 data created by MaxMind, available from https://www.maxmind.com). We see only totals: how many visits there were, which sites visitors came from, country and city, device type and browser, and how many times people pressed “Message on Telegram” and “Message on WhatsApp” and for which apartments (by the apartment code, e.g. A058), opened the map, chose filters and switched the language. The message text and your contact details are not included. These data cannot identify an individual visitor.

Messages about an apartment

The “Message on Telegram” and “Message on WhatsApp” buttons open the messenger with a ready-made message — you send it yourself. The conversation takes place in Telegram or WhatsApp under their own rules; the apartment manager receives your message in order to reply to you. The site does not see or store this conversation.

Map

The map is provided by an external provider (currently OpenFreeMap). As when opening any web page, your browser sends the provider technical request data, such as your IP address.
